The bright colors and cartoon characters.

The ad opens with a shot of an ARC Thrift Stores sign. A cartoon bluebird flies in front of a bright sun. A banner is unfurled, showing two cartoon deer wearing jeans and holding money. The banner advertises a sale on jeans. The scene transitions to a close-up of the banner with the deer and sale details.
