The ad opens with a close-up of a Scotiabank Scene American Express card against a yellow background. Text appears stating 'Earn up to $1,050 in value'. This transitions to a shot of a woman smiling and laughing, with the text 'BE BOLD.' appearing on screen. The scene then shifts to the same woman in a formal dress, with the text 'LIVE GOLD.' appearing. Finally, the card is shown again with text detailing 'The Scotiabank Gold American Express Card. Earn up to $1,050 in value in your first year.' The ad uses a split screen effect with a red sidebar on the left.
