The ad opens in a modern kitchen where a woman in a striped shirt is holding a bottle. A second woman in a flowing white dress with gold trim and elaborate jewelry is dancing energetically, her hair flying. The scene shifts to show the woman in the white dress laughing and spreading her arms wide. Then, the woman in the striped shirt looks surprised and speaks. She then touches a smart thermostat on the wall, changing the temperature. The ad shows a woman relaxing with her feet in a tub of ice water, and a young girl using a small fan. The final scene shows the whole family in a dining area, with the Direct Energy logo and offer prominently displayed.
