The initial wide shot of a serene beach scene with a branded plane flying overhead.

The ad opens with a wide shot of a beach scene, featuring beach chairs, umbrellas, and a lifeguard tower. A plane with Expedia branding flies overhead. The view then shifts to binoculars focusing on the plane. A doll-like figure, presumably Ken, is shown looking through binoculars. He then uses a smartphone to search for hotels in Tokyo, Japan. The scene transitions to Ken in a traditional Japanese room with Mount Fuji visible outside, suggesting a hotel stay. Next, Ken is shown walking with a yellow Expedia suitcase in front of colorful buildings. The ad then shows Ken on horseback in a field with mountains in the background. Finally, Ken is driving a yellow convertible through a scenic landscape, reminiscent of Tuscany. The ad ends with a sweeping aerial view of the Tuscan landscape and the Expedia logo.
