The initial wide shot of the impressive Celebrity Xcel cruise ship with the bold text 'NOTHING COMES CLOSE'.

The ad opens with a wide shot of a large cruise ship sailing on the ocean, with the text 'NOTHING COMES CLOSE' overlaid. It then transitions to various scenes of people enjoying themselves on the ship and in tropical locations: a pool party with people dancing, a couple kissing near a large inflatable balloon, people splashing in the ocean, a woman drinking from a coconut, a couple holding hands in front of a historic building, people walking on a deck, cocktails being served, two women relaxing, a couple laughing at a table, and a group dancing on deck. The pacing is quick and energetic, interspersing close-ups of happy faces with wider shots of the cruise ship and destinations. The ad concludes with a shot of the cruise ship at sunset, reiterating the tagline.
