The initial blank screen followed by a logo animation.

The ad opens with a blank screen, then a logo animation for Vertex. This transitions to a man speaking directly to the camera, identified as Michael Bernard. He is wearing a purple checkered shirt and is in a well-lit room. Text overlays appear with his name and statistics about sales tax jurisdictions. The scene then shifts to a close-up of hands working on a color palette and design documents, with a computer and tablet visible in the background. The Vertex logo reappears at the end.
