A man in a suit and apron is cooking, and a smoke detector starts blaring.

The video starts with a man in a tweed jacket and apron in a kitchen, with shelves of spices behind him. A smoke detector on the ceiling is visible. He is cooking something in a pan, which produces smoke. The smoke detector starts beeping, and he reacts with surprise, grabbing a pot holder. He then walks through a hallway as the alarm sounds. The video shows a close-up of a Verisure alarm panel, then cuts back to the man, who is now outside and talking to someone, presumably from Verisure, about the smoke alarm. The ad ends with a phone screen showing a Verisure alarm test.
