The initial wide shot of the yellow brick road leading to the emerald city, with fantastical elements, immediately establishes a magical and epic setting.

The video opens with a wide shot of a yellow brick road leading to a distant emerald city, with fantastical creatures and smoke in the foreground. It then cuts to close-ups of yellow bricks being laid, a cracked window reflecting a fantastical city, and a young woman in a shimmering dress. Text appears: 'ON NOVEMBER 21'. Next, a flock of winged creatures flies over a rocky landscape towards a castle. A person in a hat looks at glowing, golden objects. A large, dark creature is seen in a smoky, cavernous space. More text appears: 'A STORM IS COMING'. A lion, a tin man, and Dorothy are shown. They stand before a giant, imposing face. The emerald city is shown again at night. The characters are seen walking on the yellow brick road. A tornado appears in a dark, swirling sky. The text 'TO OZ' appears. Two older characters are shown, followed by a woman in a green dress looking out a window. A woman with a crown, presumably Glinda, looks concerned. The scene shifts to a bright, open area with various animals entering. A green-skinned witch screams. A man in a military-style uniform aims a weapon. Another green-skinned witch speaks, followed by the Wicked Witch of the West flying on a broomstick. The title card 'WICKED FOR GOOD' appears, followed by release information.
