A strange, green, blob-like creature with tentacles for a nose appears.

The ad opens with a close-up of a green, blob-like creature with tentacles for a nose, looking surprised. It's in a dimly lit room with many pictures of Minions on the wall. The scene then shifts to show three Minions interacting with the green creature, which appears to be a new character. They are in a boat on the ocean, with a volcanic island in the background. The Minions are rowing the boat, and the green creature is with them. A seal pops its head out of the water, followed by a shark that attacks the boat, causing chaos. The ad ends with a title card and a release date.
