The initial text "Hey South King County high schoolers!" directly addresses the target audience.

The video starts with text overlays on a red background, stating "Hey South King County high schoolers!" and then "70% of Washington jobs require education beyond high school." This is followed by scenes of diverse students in various educational settings: a group studying in a library, a young man smiling, a woman presenting to colleagues, and students in what appears to be a medical or nursing program. The video then shows text overlays about financial aid and a website address, ending with a white screen.
