The ad opens on a ship with pirates. One pirate is blindfolded and being pushed towards the water by another. A third pirate is holding a rope. The scene transitions to a close-up of the blindfolded pirate's face, then to a wider shot of the pirates on the ship. The blindfolded pirate is then shown being pushed into the water. Another pirate yells "I'm a pirate!". The scene shifts to a treasure chest filled with gold coins and two Old Spice deodorant products. A man is shown smelling one of the deodorants. The pirates are shown again, and one man yells "No one can smell as good or for as long!". The man then jumps off the ship into the ocean. He emerges from the water, looking refreshed, and rides a seahorse. The ad ends with a shot of the Old Spice products in the ocean at sunset, with the tagline.
