The striking black and white illustration of a young girl in a hijab on the blue cover of 'Persepolis'.

The video opens with a close-up of the cover of the graphic novel 'Persepolis'. It then transitions to animated comic panels depicting scenes from the book, including a young girl, a group of children in military attire, a protest, a family discussion, and a scene of people being released from prison. The pacing is moderate, with cuts between panels and occasional zooms. The final scene shows the cover of 'Persepolis' again, alongside magazine covers and a newspaper.
