The eerie, dimly lit basement setting with stark shadows.

The video opens in a dimly lit, empty basement room with a single chair and a small bookshelf. Sunlight streams through a high window, casting grid-like shadows on the floor. Text overlays appear, including the A24 logo and 'I WONDER PICTURES'. The camera slowly pans and zooms out, revealing the room is part of a larger, seemingly endless maze of identical yellow rooms with fluorescent lighting. The pacing is slow and disorienting. The final shot shows the word 'Backrooms' on a wall.
